Marine Emergency Support/ Boat Breakdown Assistance
Marine Emergency Support provides 24/7 365 days a year assistance for you should you have a crisis, problem or emergency when cruising away from your home mooring. The Call Assist team are highly experienced, competent and dedicated to providing emergency support when you need it. Marine Emergency Support includes:
- Crisis Co-ordination - operators can contact your family, friends or even liaise with doctors or arrange travel for you;
- Engine Breakdown - up to £150 towards engineers fees following engine breakdown and assistance in locating a suitable repairer;
- Getting You Home - up to £300 per person (max £3,000 per vessel) towards travel costs to transport the skipper and crew home and assistance in arranging transportation if your vessel becomes uninhabitable.
- Loss of Credit Cards, Money or other items - assistance in arranging emergency facilities should you lose your credit cards, money or other items. Also up to £60 per person (max £300 per vessel) assistance in purchasing personal items that you or your crew may have lost.
The cover even applies if your vessel is arrested by police or local courts.
To purchase our Marine Emergency Support just simply flag this when generating a quotation for your vessel, this will then automatically get included within your policy for the entire length of the insurance, simple!
